Basic Rental Information
Magnanimous Media’s rental rates are very competitive and non-negotiable. We prefer a week’s notice before booking a rental, but can accommodate last minute as well. We do require cash, credit card, or Pay Pal upfront for first time renters. (There is a 4% fee to cover the Pay Pal charge) We do not require insurance or a security deposit. We ask our renters to sign a rental agreement that states they are responsible for repairing or replacing lost or damaged gear. We also require renters to send us a link to a sample of their work to ensure that they are a video professional. (Your name on a website as it relates to your work or a video with your name in the credits.) Once we have received your link we will book your rental. In the event of a cancellation, 20% of the full rental price will be charged as a cancellation fee, $50 minimum for rentals over $100. There is a $20 delivery fee for pick up and drop off of the gear if it is required. ($30 to $60 for the suburbs. Shipping is also available.) Our one-day rental period is 24 hours, any rental period that exceeds 30 hours will be charged an additional day. Repair Service
Our technicians are Panasonic’s Premier Midwest Service Center for broadcast and professional video equipment. They specialize in the repair of DVCPRO, DVCPRO50, DVCPROHD, P2, DV, DVCAM, BETACAM AND VHS equipment. As a Panasonic “Super Key Servicer” they can assist you with in warranty equipment as well as all of your out of warranty needs. They also repair Sony broadcast and professional equipment on an out of warranty basis. Thus, allowing us to be your one stop shop for rentals and repairs.
